Hiking Wichita Mountain Wildlife Refuge

A beautiful classic hike in Oklahoma.  The panoramic vistas are bountiful every step of the way on this uphill trail.  So we have some altitude to gain today.  We’re ascending Elk Mountain.  Hikers of all abilities are welcome.

Hiking Quartz Mountains

One of Oklahoma’s seven ancient mountain ranges, Quartz Mountain is home to Native American history, art, and natural beauty.  This moderate hike is to the peak.  A great outing for hikers and those wanting to know more about hiking in Oklahoma.  So lets explore a little and see one of Oklahoma’s Best State Parks.

Hiking Red Rock Canyon State Park

One of Oklahoma’s popular outdoor spots, Red Rock Canyon has a beautiful color scheme of reds and greens.  This is a great outing for new hikers and those wanting to know more about hiking in Oklahoma.  So lets see what’s there to offer above and below the canyon rim.

Hiking Chickasaw National Recreation Area

Lets hike the Soothing Springs of Oklahoma’s oldest federal park.  This land was once called the Platt National Park.  After merging two parks together, it is now the Chickasaw National Recreation Area.  This is a great outing for new hikers and those wanting to know more about hiking in Oklahoma.  Exploring this great area will be the highlight of your summer.

Hiking Roman Nose State Park

One of Oklahoma’s popular Autumn Foliage spots, Roman Nose has wonderful canyon bluffs and ancient mesas.  The area was once the winter campground for the Cheyenne tribe.  This is a great outing for adventurous hikers and those wanting to know more about hiking in Oklahoma.  So lets see some beautiful Fall Colors.

Mountain Bike Series – Arcadia Trails

Ride on some sweet singletrack that is only a stones throw from the historical Route 66.  This ride will take us on gentle rolling hills, sand, and beautiful forest.   This trail is perfect for beginners or riders who want to see some great Oklahoman trails.

Mountain Bike Series – Bluff Creek Trails

Just North of Lake Hefner, one of the top windsurfing lakes in the world, is some fun, fast singletack.  We will ride along and over creeks and root sections in this great wooded area.   This one is for intermediate rides and those wanting to step it up.  So join us to learn some great mountain techniques.

Multi-Adventure Trip – New Mexico

Are you an EXTREMIEST?  Experience the best aspects of the Rio Grande Gorge.  We’ll mountain biking 12 miles of singletrack on the edge of the canyon with breathtaking views of the mountains and gorge.  Then whitewater raft seven miles of the Rio Grande.  These heart-pounding rapids will challenge you through boulder gardens, holes, and waves.  Then we’ll see the Carson National Forest and Taos by foot.  So join other adventurers on this southwest classic.

Indoor Rock Climbing – Rocktown and regional competitions

Does EXTREME mean going high and going fast to you?  Lets get the most climbing possible for one evening.  There are routes for beginners, novices, and experts.  Climb as high as you want to (up to 100ft.)  And don’t forget about the bouldering room.  This is a great facility utilizing old grain silos just south of Downtown OKC.
